The Untold Story of Pasang Lhamu Sherpa

The Glass Ceiling documentary takes viewers on the dramatic journey of an unlikely hero as she battles profound obstacles to climb the world’s most famous mountain. Fighting sexism, racism, cultural norms and a deadly mountain, Pasang Lhamu becomes a role model to women in her country when she becomes the first Nepali woman to reach the summit of Mt. Everest. But when she doesn’t return from the summit, celebration turns to disbelief and an entire nation is left in mourning. No one has ever told her story. WE NEED YOUR HELP to share Pasang’s courageous journey with the world. Help us keep her legacy alive!
